Il multipower serve?

Il multipower è un attrezzo presente in quasi tutte le palestre. E’ un macchinario con bilanciere guidato, utile a svolgere molti esercizi che andrebbero eseguiti in modo libero. Con il multipower si possono svolgere esercizi di spinta come la panca piana, military press, oppure esercizi di tirata come il rematore con bilanciere, oppure i classici squat e moltissimi altri esercizi. La comodità del multipower sta proprio nel movimento guidato e vincolato. Questo vincolo evita qualsiasi tipo di errore di esecuzione, appunto perchè il bilanciere del macchinario è bloccato.
Può essere un valido strumento per insegnare la propedeutica di determinati esercizi ma ci sono degli aspetti da valutare. Gli esercizi liberi seguono determinate regole per evitare gli infortuni. E se questa libertà viene a mancare (appunto perchè c’è un vincolo), il rischio di infortunio aumenta e l’esercizio non viene rispettato.
Perchè non mi fa impazzire di gioia il multipower?
Perchè credo nella tecnica degli esercizi e soprattutto credo che una persona debba essere capace di muovere dei pesi, bilancieri o manubri che siano, in modo non vincolato. In palestra non si migliora solo fisicamente ma anche a livello di coordinazione. Credo che se gli esercizi con bilanciere hanno determinate regole c’è un motivo. Mi spiego meglio. Nella panca piana la regola dice che il bilanciere deve toccare il petto all’altezza dei capezzoli e poi bisogna spingerlo in alto sopra la testa. Con il multipower non è possibile fare l’esercizio nel giusto modo, perchè il movimento sarà su un piano frontale senza possibilità di sbocco. La spinta non sarà più petto/testa ma sarà spalle/mento oppure petto/petto. Questo blocco impone uno sforzo importante a livello delle spalle molto pericoloso.
Nel military press la spinta deve partire dal petto e arrivare sopra la testa. Con il multipower capite bene che questo non è possibile. La traiettoria degli esercizi non è mai lineare, bensì è sempre leggermente deviata. Un altro esempio è lo squat. Nello squat dobbiamo andare indietro con il sedere e riuscire a antivergere il bacino con il busto in avanti, la traiettoria non è dritta. Con il multipower questo vincolo nella traiettoria c’è un rischio molto elevato di infortunio alla schiena.
Personalmente il multipower lo utilizzerei solamente per le scrollate, per i calf e per gli slanci in quadrupedia. In questi esercizi non c’è un grande range di movimento e può essere una buona soluzione il multipower. Vedere ragazze fare gli slanci a corpo libero mi fa sorridere (fai clic per leggere l’articolo dedicato) perchè il gluteo è un muscolo forte, e senza sovraccarico non viene allenato! Con il multipower invece gli slanci sono un ottimo esercizio per i glutei.
